Hi there! I’m Katelyn, and I’m passionate about adding a touch of creativity and charm to life’s special moments; making your celebrations unforgettable. With over six years of experience in admin, event coordinating, and marketing within the nonprofit world, I now also get to channel that expertise into curating unique and memorable events details of your event.

When I’m not immersed in the events world, you’ll likely find me exploring St. Louis’s vibrant restaurant scene, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, or working on my MBA. At home, I love spending time with my husband and our sweet dog, Kaya.

 As a St. Louis native and someone who has spent seven years in social work, I’ve always been driven by a desire to make a difference in people’s lives. While I continue my work as a social worker, I felt a growing pull to explore my creative side and bring something new to the table—Poppy Event Rentals was born from that inspiration.  

For me, event design is all about crafting experiences that are as unique as the people celebrating them. I love curating thoughtful, personal touches that transform your vision into reality and create unforgettable memories.  

When I’m not busy dreaming up creative event ideas, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our almost-2-year-old. I also love diving into DIY projects, exploring new restaurants, and finding fresh ways to express my creativity.
